What is an 'Event Burro'?

Whether you know them as Beverage Burros, Wedding Burros, or Dapper Donkeys, our delightful mini 'Event Burro' companions cater to various occasions and events. They deliver joy, entertainment, and the cutest photo ops to your guests whilst toting drinks, treats, party favors, brand materials, or anything else you have in mind!  

How much can your burros carry?

Mini burros can safely carry about 25% of their total body weight. We take a conservative approach and only have them carry up to 60 pounds, keeping them comfortable and happy so they can focus sparking conversations and smiles amongst you and your guests.  

How much do services cost?

Please reach out to us directly for pricing as the location of your event may impact the service fee amount.

How far will you travel?

Our normal service area is within 40 miles from Star, Idaho. Anything outside of that distance will incur a $0.54 /mi travel charge, both ways. The maximum travel distance from Star, ID is about two hours (one hour to the event location and one hour back). This is to minimize the travel stress on our little burro friends. 

How long can burros be reserved for?

Our reservations are for 1 (one) hour. 

Is the theme and attire of the burros customizable?

Our service fee includes the use of our faux floral crowns, neck wreaths, and blooms to decorate the panniers (carrying containers).  We are happy to provide size references if you would like your florist to create custom arrangements.The cost of any custom flower crowns, neck wreaths, or pannier adornments will be handled directly between you and your florist.   

If you are hosting a different type of event, such as a birthday or corporate shindig, we will certainly do our best to accommodate your theme with matching burro attire. Just let us know and we'll work together to come up with a plan! 

Do you offer personalized items for events, such as signs or containers, for the burros to carry?

We provide faux florals and signage, which can be customized to match the theme or colors of your event.

Do you provide the food or beverages?

No. We are happy to pass out whatever non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, company swag, promotional items, or gifts you provide that can fit in their double-sided pack containers and do not exceed 30 pounds per pannier.

What about when nature calls for our little burro friends?

This is rarely an issue, but just in case our burros wear a discreet 'Bun Bag' to avoid any mess. 

What is included in a photoshoot?

Can we have dogs at the event with the burros?

As animals have their own feelings about encountering one another, we kindly request that any additional animals/pets be safely secured during our burro's visit. 

Do you give rides?

No. Even though our mini burros are mighty, their safety and the safety of your guests is our top priority. The burros are not available for rides by adults or children.  

Is your company insured?

Yes! We carry a commercial general liability policy and are happy to provide a copy to your venue if needed.

How do I pay?

Payment instructions are provided once your event burro reservation date/time has been confirmed with us. Please refer to the document received or feel free to contact us with any questions at all!
